Pivot or Persevere: Cultivating Curiosity in Pursuit of Career Success
The search for a best fit career is a perpetual process that requires self-awareness and personal development. Identifying passions, values, and skills is the first step, but it is equally important to have the tools and resources to navigate the unexpected twists and turns that pop up on this journey. In this session, we will go deeper into a process for helping students navigate through the myriad obstacles that arise in pursuit of a career, such as academic challenges, imposter syndrome and identity in the workplace, and the importance of centering wellness. Participants will leave with tools and resources to help guide students through determining when to pivot in their career journey and when to persevere while fostering a spirit of lifelong exploration.
