Our fifth annual Life After High School convening took place on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 9:00 - 4:00 PM. Hosted by NOLA CCAN at the Cowen Institute, this momentous event aims to elevate programs, best practices, and capacity building so the adolescent- and opportunity youth-serving counselors and success coaches in our region are poised to support their student populations towards and through a best fit postsecondary plan.
About the Convening: Life After High School’s goal is to foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among thought partners, community college personnel, non-profit practitioners, guidance counselors, Charter Management Organizations & NOLA Public Schools leaders, professionals from various business sectors and local universities, and other champions for postsecondary success. Meals, snacks, and a networking happy hour are included, and it will take place on the beautiful Uptown campus of Tulane University.

Parking
Registered guests will receive an invitation via email from “Parking” to claim a parking permit for the Diboll Parking Garage on Tulane University's Uptown campus (Bldg #103). The below button additionally gives instructions for arriving to the Lavin-Bernick Center (LBC - Bldg #29) from the Diboll Parking Garage. Guests are also welcome to pay for their own parking upon arrival in metered or ParkMobile spaces on/near campus.
Handicap Parking: Claim permit, have state-issued ADA placard or plate, park in ADA or other space close to LBC. Not valid in reserved or ParkMobile/meter spaces.

At the end of the convening, there will be a table browse and networking happy hour. If you have a program that is hiring, training, educating, funding, or supporting young people and their futures, get the word out! Apply to be one of eight tables featured this year.
